K'gari Beach Resort, K'gari (Fraser Island) About the Role With an unbeatable beachfront location, the resort is accessible via 4WD and is the east coast's go-to destination for exploring the island's iconic destinations.
With expansive grounds, the resort includes 83 newly renovated hotel rooms and apartments, as well as a restaurant and bar, renowned bakery, and general store.
Bring your vibrant passion for creating incredible products and superb experience in bakery operations to the Bakery at K'gari Beach Resort.
We're looking for a fully trade-qualified Baker to ensure the continued production of the island's popular quality baked goods.
This a permanent full-time opportunity, reporting to our Executive Chef and working up to 76 hours per fortnight across a rostering system.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a remote location and will be able to relocate into the staff accommodation at the resort.
About You You have a flair for creativity and a love for delivering an array of mouthwatering bakery goods.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role Experience working in a high-volume bakery  HACCP and Food Safety and Hygiene training Relevant bakery trade qualifications  Advanced communication and organizational skills Time management skills that would impress even the busiest bees Proven experience in a high-volume bakery environment The Benefits - conditions apply Affordable Island Living: Only $150.44 per week, including accommodation, 3 daily staff meals, and Wi-Fi.
