Baggage Handler - Achieve Group

Achieve are recruiting for a Dockhand in Rockhampton This role is a very physical one.
We require someone who is energetic and has the ability to do continuous manual handling.
You will be required to climb into the back of a truck trailer full of parcels and help feed them down a conveyor belt to the waiting drivers, who will then sort their parcels for delivery.
Some parcels will be small and some will be much larger.
You will need to know how to lift, bend and carry safely so as to avoid injury.
If you have had similar experience in another role that would be favorable.
A clean open drivers licence is an advantage as you could potentially end up doing some deliveries or off-siding for a driver.
20-25hrs per week would be the norm with extra hours available if you are required to help out.
As our host employer is a multi drop parcel company they will be getting busier and busier as Christmas approaches.
This is an immediate start role.
Monday - Friday.
Weekly pay and weekly Super payments.
