We are representing a large and established organisation who are pushing the boundaries in terms of innovation and the development of propositions across a range of different insurance lines.

About the Role As an Underwriting Analyst, you'll support the Head of Underwriting by developing and optimizing underwriting solutions.
Your role will involve analyzing data, providing insights, and delivering underwriting solutions and queries.

Key Responsibilities Act as a subject matter expert on optimisation initiatives.
Drive change and challenge the status quo for continuous improvement.
Manage raw data insights and create meaningful insights.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and partners.
Monitor underwriting reports to identify performance improvements.
Assist in implementing new underwriting rules and applications.
Internal Underwriting Management: Provide daily sign-offs and manage underwriting queries.
Support claims outcomes with underwriting data.
Escalate and resolve any inconsistencies.
What We're Looking For Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Proven problem-solving abilities, with a creative approach to challenges.
A strong ability to manage raw data in Excel.
An ability to communicate your ideas and insights to internal stakeholders and manage objections.
Ideally 1 - 2 years of insurance exposure.
Underwriting experience preferential.
Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage your workload independently.
Experience in the life insurance industry.
