An excellent opportunity exists for suitably experienced and highly qualified individuals to join the REX Group Engineering team as a full-time B2 (Avionics) LAME, at our base in Adelaide.
Reporting: This position reports to the Line Maintenance Supervisor.
Position Responsibilities: Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on Regional Express Group aircraft and aircraft components within a maintenance team.Ensure all maintenance and repairs are carried out to a high standard, ensuring integrity and robustness of aircraft to meet operational requirementsService and clean hangar, tools and ground equipmentParticipate in aircraft recovery when necessaryObserve all standards and procedures contained within Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulations, as well as individual aircraft systems maintenance.A demonstrated technical competency & ability to perform aircraft and component maintenance, modification and troubleshooting in accordance with regulatory requirements, under minimal supervision and to strict deadlines.Aircraft Maintenance licence âwith or without type ratings.Well-developed verbal and written communication skillsA high level of motivation with a team-focused work ethicFlexibility with working hoursA valid driver's licenceMeet the necessary requirements to hold an Aviation Security Identity Card and Airside Driving Licence.Preferred Selection Criteria: SAAB 340 endorsed Type LicenceExperience on transport category aircraftExperience in Airline operationsCertificate 4 in training and assessment would be an added advantage.AME's undertaking Diploma training will be consideredSaab 340 Course will be available for suitably qualified applicants requiring type rating.
