About the Role The B2B Engagement and Communications Manager at UTS Rapido is a pivotal role designed to bridge the gap between our innovative services and the industries we serve. This role is responsible for establishing, implementing, and leading comprehensive engagement and communication strategies that foster robust relationships with internal and external partners.
The manager will enhance and promote the UTS Rapido brand, ensuring our services are well-known and respected within the marketplace. By aligning and leading our engagement capabilities, this role will generate leads, support business growth, and drive the prominence of UTS Rapido in the industry.
The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of both marketing and engagement, demonstrating the ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with business development to achieve organisational goals.
If successful in applying for this role, you will be responsible for:
Leading initiatives to build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners while supervising staff to implement campaigns that increase engagement, leads, and revenue through collaborative marketing efforts. Collaborating with business development teams to manage partner marketing, create media releases, secure coverage, and engage customers for co-created content and joint marketing activities. Creating and deploying web content, marketing collateral, and social media strategies to effectively communicate UTS Rapido's capabilities, boost brand awareness, and generate leads. Manage and optimise website content, oversee paid content distribution, and assess ROI. Leading and mentoring a team to effectively execute marketing and engagement activities, demonstrating the ability to drive all necessary marketing and communication efforts to support business growth. Working closely with the UTS Rapido leadership and business development teams to support growth initiatives and optimise lead follow-up and conversion. Overseeing engagement activities for R&D projects, reporting on progress, and managing interactions with industry and academic partners to facilitate collaboration and highlight UTS Rapido's technical expertise. Enabling engineering managers to drive R&D project scoping and negotiations, organise relevant events to drive engagement, and enable partnerships with funding bodies to support industry-funded R&D projects. With examples, please outline in a separate document, how you meet the following key selection criteria: Marketing Expertise: Proficiency in marketing strategies, content creation, campaign management, and digital platforms. Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with industry partners and internal stakeholders. Experience in a technology-focused environment, consulting, or technology R&D setting is desirable. Proven media relations and event management experience supporting engagement efforts. Base Salary Range: $136,830 to $143,345 pa (HEW 9) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
