Our five-year Strategic Plan is focused on growing as an innovative, responsive and better-connected health service provider for all Australians.About this OpportunityReporting directly to the Senior Base Engineer, as the B1 LAME, you will be responsible for the provision of maintenance and support to the aircraft fleet in accordance with the RFDS SA/NT maintenance related procedures and practices.Specifically, you will: Provide maintenance support via an on-call roster out of normal working hours to ensure aircraft availability to meet contract requirements.Maintain compliant aircraft records including WinAir records.Comply with and work within Engineering systems and processes as specified in the Maintenance Organisation Manual.Comply with the requirements of the Systems of Maintenance and Maintenance Control Manual.Ensure aircraft are clean and presentable at all times.Maintain RFDS aircraft support equipment.Perform temporary/relief maintenance at other RFDS locations as required.About YouYou are:Able to actively develop your own capabilities and technical expertise.Passionate about supporting the development and growth of others.Professional in conduct according to our Values and Code of Conduct.Able to utilize strong problem-solving abilities.Driven and able to use initiative.Equipped with basic computer skills.To be considered for the role you require:CASA Licence/s for type-rated turbine aircraft appropriate to RFDS CO fleet.A current Australian driver's licence.Extensive experience in the maintenance of aircraft with a commitment to service delivery.The ability to determine priorities and achieve deadlines with a minimum of supervision.Well-developed communication and organisational skills.Our BenefitsAs part of our team, you can expect to be provided with challenging, interesting work and be supported to achieve your best.
