Open Access College plays an important and critical role in addressing educational disadvantage for South Australian Students who are not able to attend school in person or are unable to access aspects of the full curriculum at their local school.
The College is a leader in distance education and operates from Campuses located in Adelaide and Port Augusta, catering for Reception to Year 12 students with dynamic and innovative teaching and learning programs.

This is a TEMPORARY POSITION (1-year contract) 23/01/2025-21/01/2026 at Open Access College, Marden Campus Fraction of Time: 1.0 (0.5 FTE at Marden Senior College) The Coordinator Library Manager will be responsible for:
Working in collaboration with other leaders to meet contemporary teaching and learning needs by facilitating access to a range of digital and print resources.
Leading and managing a hub for student collaboration and learning.
Managing the shared library facility, including upskilling of library staff, management of physical and digital resources, and the joint annual budget.
Other duties as may be required by the principal from time to time.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their:
Ability to manage a multipurpose resource centre.
Ability to initiate and manage change that provides quality learning outcomes for the full range of students.
Comprehensive understanding of current practices for managing digital and physical information resources for children, young people, and adults.
Knowledge and commitment to promoting and creating a safe and inclusive work environment and the legislative requirements of Equal Opportunity and Work Health and Safety legislation.
Experience in establishing effective working relationships and communication with staff, students, parents, and community groups.
Desirable Requirements: Library qualification.
Special Conditions:
Responding to Abuse and Neglect Training must be completed.
Working with Children Check (WWCC) required prior to confirmation of appointment.
