Azure Technical Specialist SVHA is looking for a highly-skilled Azure Technical Specialist to join our Infrastructure team. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing technical specialist support in a Microsoft Azure hybrid environment, including the design, deployment, and management of Azure resources such as VM's, network security groups, network security policies, Public & Private endpoints, Web Application Firewall rules, load balancers, and other various resources in Azure.
You will work collaboratively with other teams in the organization to continuously improve our environment with our cloud-first philosophy to deliver new applications and transition existing applications to Azure.
Responsibilities: Manage and deploy common Azure services (Virtual Machine, Databases, Storage, Virtual Network, Azure Resource Manager, Azure site recovery, Azure backups/restores, Azure High Availability). Design, implement, and manage cloud networking and security in Azure (firewalls, network security groups, Express route, Azure VPN, Microsoft Azure networking, and security best practices). Design, deploy, support, and manage global networks (LANs and WANs). Implement Azure Security and network infrastructure security. Deploy and administer SQL databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Azure Cosmos, Azure SQL as a service). Utilize Azure automation and PowerShell scripting. Manage Azure Active Directory domain services, Azure B2C, on-prem domain controllers, conditional access, Azure AAD Sync, Hybrid AD. Implement Azure security center, Azure sentinel, and Azure availability and capacity management. Develop and implement cloud and on-premises AD role-based access control. Minimum Requirements: 5+ years' experience in Azure services and networking. Strong knowledge in Azure Security and infrastructure security. Experience in SQL databases and Azure automation. Proficiency in Azure Active Directory and Azure security tools. Capacity management and monitoring experience in Azure.
