12 + 12 + 12 Month Contract Baseline Clearance RequiredCanberra, ACTOur client, a very large, Federal Government Organisation who protect & strengthen Australia's agriculture, water resources and environment, are Seeking the experience of a Azure Data Platform Administrator for a long 12 + 12 month contract, based in the Canberra City.
Responsibilities: Maintaining ELT platform for the ingestion data to our data warehouse using tools including SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, ADLS, PowerShell.Refactoring existing on-premises functionality in Azure.Performing troubleshooting through analysis of code and data to identify issues, and provide resolution.Working as part of a team to problem solve and build/improve processes and automation.Reviewing system performance and optimising code, creating/using indexes to improve database performance.Experience: Strong SQL Server administration skills including ability to optimise for performance.Azure platform experience - SQL Managed Instance, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage.Great communication skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.Creation of solution design and technical documentation with excellent troubleshooting skills troubleshooting skills.Experience with Azure DevOps pipelinesGit.To apply to this long and interesting contract opportunity please apply or call Alex on (02) 6299 1006.
