The Azure Cloud Engineer - Azure Arc Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure and services in Microsoft Azure, with a particular focus on Azure Arc.
This role involves implementing and supporting hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises and cloud resources.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure services and a deep understanding of Azure Arc capabilities.Key Responsibilities:Implement, configure, and manage Azure Arc to extend Azure management and governance across on-premises, multi-cloud, and edge environments.Integrate non-Azure resources with Azure services to enable unified management and monitoring.Cloud Infrastructure Design and Management:Design and deploy scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure services.Manage and optimize Azure resources including virtual machines, storage accounts, and network configurations.Hybrid Cloud Solutions:Develop and maintain hybrid cloud solutions that bridge on-premises data centers and Azure cloud environments.Ensure compatibility and seamless operation of Azure Arc with on-premises and other cloud platforms.Automation and Scripting:Develop and manage automation scripts for provisioning, monitoring, and managing Azure resources using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure CLI, and PowerShell.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to streamline deployments and configurations.Monitoring and Optimization:Utilize Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other tools to monitor performance, availability, and security of cloud resources.Analyze and optimize cloud resource usage to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance.Security and Compliance:Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.Manage identity and access controls using Azure Active Directory (AAD) and role-based access control (RBAC).Technical Support and Troubleshooting:Provide technical support for Azure and Azure Arc-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problems.Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to address complex technical challenges.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed documentation of Azure Arc configurations, deployments, and best practices.Prepare and present reports on cloud infrastructure performance, usage, and incident resolutions.Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with the latest Azure and Azure Arc features, tools, and best practices.Recommend and implement improvements to enhance cloud infrastructure and operational efficiency.Due to the secure nature of the role, Australian citizens with a federal government security clearance will be preferred.Benefits of working at Accenture:18 weeks paid parental leaveLong & short-term career break opportunitiesStructured career development programLocal and international career opportunities.Certified as a Family Inclusive WorkplaceFlexible Work Arrangements - centered around Accenture's Truly Human ethos and our commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of our people.We are proud to be in the top 3 of last year's Diversity & Inclusion Index!About Accenture:Accenture is a leading global professional services company that helps the world's leading businesses, governments and other organizations build their digital core, optimize their operations, accelerate revenue growth and enhance citizen services—creating tangible value at speed and scale.
