They've partnered with Australian Signals Directorate to provide protected Azure and 365. They're forward thinking with tech, focused on creating solutions that make things simple for the customer and end user.These guys have cultivated a great culture, you'll look forward to spending time with the team. The Role As an Azure Architect, you're going to be leading a technical uplift of infrastructure onto Azure cloud platforms, in a nationally significant department, where we also have well established relationships with the director, team members and key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

Deep understanding of Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). Experience with Azure compute, storage, networking, databases, and security. Expertise in designing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures. Knowledge of microservices, serverless computing, containers, and Kubernetes on Azure (AKS). Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep. Strong understanding of cloud security best practices. Implementation experience with identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance controls on Azure. Experience in migrating and modernising legacy applications to meet current cybersecurity standards. Knowledge of migration tools and strategies, including re-hosting, re-platforming, and re-factoring.

Key Skills

3-5 Years experience in a technical operations role managing complex environments, with evidence of problem solving and analytical skills. Demonstrated experience providing application and infrastructure monitoring, including Infrastructure/Azure resource monitoring. Demonstrated experience in DevOps and automation, including Automate, test, and deploy infrastructure templates with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and project managers. Ability to create clear and concise documentation. Experience engaging with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Proven ability to complete documentation to a high standard and communicate effectively with key technical stakeholders and customers. Great stakeholder and team engagement – written and oral.
