The successful AWS DevOps Engineer will secure an initial 12 month contract with the view to be extended for a further two years.The successful AWS DevOps Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:Working closely with Data Engineers to ensure that the platform is fit for purpose.Enabling functionality for data pipeline development, for SQL and Python developers.Managing an AWS-native data platform using core AWS technologies.Guiding other team members and clients to develop fit-for-purpose solutions and support BAU operations.The successful AWS DevOps Engineer will have experience in the following:Demonstrated strong knowledge and experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud and cloud infrastructure.Demonstrated experience in working with business and technical stakeholders.Experience building and maintaining bespoke solutions using technologies native to AWS.Demonstrated experience working in an agile project team, providing data capability and services to technical and business stakeholders.This is a great opportunity to work within a highly esteemed Federal Government Department and join an established multidiscipline team.
