AWS Cloud Engineer / EKS Platform Engineer Location: Sydney or Melbourne, Australia Contract Duration: 7 months (with potential for extension) Start Date: ASAP About the Role: Are you passionate about leveraging cutting-edge cloud technologies to build scalable, secure, and efficient solutions?
Seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer / EKS Platform Engineer Design and deploy containerized applications on AWS.
Leverage AWS component services for Compute, Storage, Networking, and Monitoring.
Provision AWS infrastructure with cloud-native architecture and deployment models.
Administer hybrid cloud environments, manage Kubernetes clusters, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
Collaborate with Application Architects to define performance and quality gates in CI/CD pipelines.
Key Requirements: Advanced Kubernetes expertise, including application deployment and cluster management.
Proficiency with Docker, CRIO, and orchestration best practices.
Hands-on experience with EKS, managing platform-wide and compliance-critical applications.
Solid understanding of AWS services for Compute, Storage, and Security.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Big Data.
Familiarity with Airflow (training can be provided).
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and sandbox environment creation.
