Your New Role
As the Group Accounting Manager, you will lead the Group Accounting and Fund Financial Operations Teams, driving excellence and innovation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the month-end close processes and balance sheet substantiation for Aware Super Group operating entities Overseeing daily cash flows, contribution receipting, and benefit payments to members Ensuring robust financial controls and compliance with tax regulations Collaborating with various teams to deliver meaningful insights into Aware Super's financial performance Leading and developing a team of skilled professionals to achieve our financial objectives How do you exceed our expectations?
You are a proactive and innovative leader with a passion for excellence and a commitment to our members.
You will bring:
Demonstrated knowledge of in-depth accounting functions, finance, and the superannuation/financial services industry Strong understanding of accounting standards and effective reconciliations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven problem-solving and data analytic skills CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent) and a relevant tertiary degree Employee Experience
