Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate AWA - DES/WFA - Job Coach to join our team in Belconnen, Australia. As a Job Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with disabilities to find and maintain meaningful employment opportunities.
Provide personalized career coaching and guidance to clients with disabilitiesDevelop and implement tailored employment plans for each clientConduct job readiness assessments and skills evaluationsAssist clients in identifying suitable job opportunities and preparing job applicationsOffer on-the-job support and training to ensure successful workplace integrationCollaborate with employers to create inclusive work environmentsMaintain accurate case records and documentationMonitor client progress and adjust support strategies as neededStay updated on labor market trends and disability employment regulationsAdvocate for clients' rights and needs in the workplaceParticipate in team meetings and contribute to program improvementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Resources, or related fieldMinimum of 2 years' experience in job coaching or a related field, preferably working with individuals with disabilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to provide empathetic and motivational supportProficiency in case management and counseling techniquesThorough understanding of Disability Employment Services (DES) and Australian workplace regulationsKnowledge of the Australian labor market and employment trendsFamiliarity with disability support services and resourcesExcellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systemsAbility to travel within the Belconnen area and surrounding regionsCertifications in career coaching or disability support are preferredCommitment to professional development and staying current with industry best practicesAdditional InformationWhat we will give you: On the job training as well as ongoing career development and national opportunities;Access to MedHealth Academy including your own professional development plan, inclusive of individual training and mentoring;Job stability and guaranteed full-time hours;Achievable quarterly incentive scheme;Access to a range of benefits including discounts for health insurance, access to psychology services, ability to purchase additional leave, roadside assistance and paid parental leave.APPLY NOW If this sounds like the role for you, please select the 'Apply for this job' button to upload your resume.
