Your role Army helicopters are packed with sophisticated circuitry and systems' and keeping them at the peak of operational performance is critical to Army capability. So, if you're interested in electrical technology, you'll love learning how to maintain the state-of-the-art electronics that control our aircraft. The helicopters you may learn to service include the Black Hawk, Chinook and ARH-Tiger (Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter). Upon commencing training, your starting salary will be approximately $56,385 per annum plus 16.4% superannuation and your pay will increase as you progress through training. On completion of your initial military training and initial employment training, you could earn $84,710 per annum plus generous super. Location Following your initial military training, you could be posted to one of the many Army bases and units across Australia. The majority of these positions are located in QLD, NSW and the NT.
