Your role:
As an Avionics Engineer, you'll play a critical role in today's modern Army where you will be able to take control of advanced Army technology as you plan, install, analyse and troubleshoot our advanced helicopter systems.
Immerse yourself in the mechanics of Armed Reconnaissance, Chinook helicopters, and more. You'll keep these impressive machines in top form by maintaining the electrical, avionics, instrument and flight control systems.
You'll learn firsthand how to apply your engineering skills to Army aircraft and manage a maintenance team to keep the helicopters airworthy. From here you'll have a range of opportunities to evolve in the field of engineering, including travelling overseas and undertaking postgraduate study.

Salary:
In the Army you'll get paid a highly competitive salary from day one regardless of your age, experience or qualifications; and your pay increases as you progress through training.
On completion of your initial military training and initial employment training, you could earn: $96,334 per annum plus a generous super.
