It's an exciting time to join our team and while the specific duties of an ASO will vary throughout the course of your shift, you'll commonly find yourself:Operating various points of the screening process; ensuring passengers, staff, visitors, and their possessions are safely checked and cleared for entryControlling access to security sensitive areas by undertaking physical searches, identifying dangerous or hazardous items, and remaining vigilant at all timesScreening for any security threats in checked and oversized baggageProviding the best possible customer service in a safe and professional manner!About youOur ASOs come from a variety of backgrounds and skillsets, and that's what makes the Certis team so great.

Certis will cover the cost of your training, including Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (AVI20118) and 40 hours On-the-Job Training.
The Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (TSP) is a nationally recognised qualification and is a requirement for all Aviation Screening Officers and is completely FREE with our Registered Training Organisation (RTO 45583).Note that to progress into a permanent position you are required to successfully complete the Certificate II in TSP and, at the end of your On-the-Job Training, be deemed capable of making independent screening decisions.Apply now!
