Aviation Protection Officer

We are seeking customer service focused individuals to work as Aviation Protection Officers at Emerald Airport on a Casual basis.
The role involves providing consistent high-quality customer service, controlling access to security-sensitive areas, and managing traffic flow of passengers through security check points to terminals.

As a registered training provider, we will guide you through the online learning modules and practical on-site training to prepare you for your new role as an Aviation Screener.
You will be responsible for:
Providing consistent high-quality customer serviceControlling access to security-sensitive areasManaging traffic flow of passengers through security check pointsMaintaining compliance in all security and safety proceduresApplying effective communication skillsKeeping yourself to a high level of personal groomingMinimum criteria:
Willing to obtain or currently hold a Certificate II in Transport Security ProtectionAbility to successfully pass a Drug and alcohol testAbility to obtain an ASIC (Criminal history clearance in the past 10 years)Hold an unrestricted drivers licence and have own reliable vehicleAvailability to work on a 24/7 rotating rosterISS is a global workplace experience and facility management company, passionate about creating a culture that values inclusion and diversity.
