Our Internship Program, Explore, is designed for college students pursuing a degree in a STEM field and provides opportunities to learn what it's like to work in a professional environment and apply what's learned in class to the real-world challenges we face every day.
RESPONSIBILITIES Provide aviation planning and environmental planning support on various projects.Compile and analyze data.Assist in the development of aviation environmental documentation such as categorical exclusions and environmental assessments.Evaluate aviation planning concepts with relation to airport layout plans and airport master plans.Participate in client meetings and take meeting minutes.Coordinate with senior staff on various tasks.QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards an aviation planning, aviation management, aviation environmental, or similar degree from an accredited program by the start of the internship (Spring 2025).SPECIAL SKILLS: Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets and basic AutoCAD drafting.PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS: None.WHY JOIN US?
