Headquartered in Nowra, New South Wales, QinetiQ Air Affairs, part of QinetiQ's Threat Representation business unit, provides targets and training services, and electronic warfare capabilities to the Australian Defence Force, in addition to aerial surveillance and reconnaissance in support of government firefighting efforts.
Air Affairs owns and operates a fleet of special mission aircraft and maintains an advanced manufacturing and engineering facility providing design, manufacture and certification operations.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail orientated individual for the role of Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) Supervisor.
This role will see you being responsible for the day-to-day supervision, and execution of maintenance on Defence Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE).
Your day to day role will see you joining a supportive team to:
Act as a point of contact in conjunction with the ALSE Leading Hand for daily production matters for the Program Manager.Ensure that all maintenance conducted complies with Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) and all Defence publications and procedures.Maintain and observe all Work, Health, Safety & Environmental requirements and report any breaches.Provide supervision, coaching and support to team members to ensure a high performing and engaged team.As our ideal candidate you will bring:
Experience and suitable qualifications in Aviation Life Support Equipment.Excellent communication skills.Previous experience of Supervision within the Aviation Industry.A keen attention to detail and adherence to strict safety standards.You will be provided with an opportunity to learn, develop your skills and grow within a Global Company based out of the Shoalhaven.
