Jess Della-Verde: ****** and Niamh Leahy: ****** The Aviation Business Development analyst is responsible for assisting the Head of Aviation Business Development & Commercial to:  Develop & grow Adelaide Airport and Parafield Airport's aviation and aviation related business;  Drive new non-stop international and domestic services;  Drive competition on domestic & regional routes; and   Consolidate and grow incumbent operators.  The successful candidate will assist the Head of Aviation Business Development & Commercial through high quality analysis, presentation development and marketing plans/concepts to:  Determine, develop and drive new routes in South Australia, across the nation as a whole and overseas, thereby both increasing passenger throughput and shareholder value.   Develop and drive strategic relationships at all levels with all current and potential airline operators.  Develop and drive strategic relationships with other airports to achieve mutually beneficial route development outcomes.  Negotiate new and existing route opportunities in conjunction with the South Australian Government representatives.  Work with airline sales and marketing teamns and travel trade to build Adelaide's direct and indirect markets.  Display vision and innovation in developing new opportunities.  Negotiate and influence airline schedule activity and the associated coordination process.   Influence Australian air service agreements with other countries to the benefit of Adelaide Airport and South Australia.   Forge and maintain relationships across the wider aviation industry, within Australia and on a regional and world-wide basis.  Develop and foster close relationships with Airline and Ground Handling Operators at Head Office level and at Adelaide Airport.   Working closely to assist the Head of Aviation Business Development & Commercial to manage the following key internal and external relationships:  Executive leadership team and the Board;   Broader Adelaide Airport and Parafield Airport teams;  International, domestic and regional airlines both globally and at a local level;  Freighters;  The General Aviation sector;  Fixed-base operators at Adelaide and Parafield Airports;  Other aviation related businesses operating (or potentially operating) at Adelaide Airport;  State and Commonwealth agencies;  AAL's consultancy relationships with specialist aviation route development advisors and data and providers; and  Any other key stakeholders as required.  Prepare and deliver presentations as required.  Conduct stakeholder visits and tours.  Embed Customer Service in attitudes and actions;  Contribute to a safe, healthy and discrimination free workplace;  Comply with the WHS Responsibility Guidelines;  Comply with the Environmental Responsibility Procedure.  Live the AAL values  A Be ACCOUNTABLE and AUTHENTIC    I Conduct ourselves with INTEGRITY  R Be RESPONSIVE, efficient and RESPECTFUL   P Take PRIDE in our achievements   O Be OPEN and friendly and encourage diversity   R Build RELATIONSHIPS based on trust   T Foster great TEAMS  Qualifications & Experience  Tertiary qualifications involving analystical and marketing skills (such as Commerce, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Marketting or equivalent) and/or practical experience leading to the acquisition of equivalent skills, abilities and competencies.  A background in (or clear capability to operate in) airport business development and/or airline network planning and route analysis.  Corporate experience within the airport, travel or airline industry.  The ability to communicate across all levels of the industry.  Capable of creating and working as part of a team to achieve the overall vision through living the values of AAL and achieving individual and group goals and KPIs.  Able to gather relevant information and knowledge to enhance decision making and continued refinement of the vision and strategic direction.   Personal Attributes  A strong intellect combined with analytical and well-developed strategic capabilities.   Excellent written and oral communication skills.   Well-developed commercial perspectives.   A business driver who can pursue new commercial opportunities and who has a sense of urgency combined with a bias for action.  Excellent people and communication skills, politically astute with the ability to persuade others while at the same time aligning people to common objectives.  Flexibility and openness to other points of view;
