Avaya Technician

The Company Our client is an Australian Owned & Operated Telecommunication Service Provider, whose purpose is to make the ICT process simple, efficient, and stress free for business customer and their IT Staff.
The Role Our client is looking for a hands on Avaya technician who would be responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Avaya IP Office Systems.
What you will do - System Installation and Configuration: Setting up and configuring Avaya Contact Center Select systems, including servers, software, and network components.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Providing ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting for Avaya Contact Center systems to ensure optimal performance.
- User Support: Offering technical support to end-users, including resolving issues related to system functionality and performance.
- System Upgrades: Managing and implementing system upgrades and patches to keep the contact center systems up-to-date.
What you will bring - Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Avaya Contact Center Select systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Networking Skills: Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols, particularly those related to VoIP and SIP.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with users and team members.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Avaya Certified Implementation Specialist (ACIS) or Avaya Certified Support Specialist (ACSS) are valuable.
