Pro AV Solutions is Australia's leading workplace technology integration organisation with branches in NSW, ACT, QLD, VIC, SA and WA.
We design, integrate, support and maintain high quality Audio Visual and Unified Communication systems and solutions into corporate, government, education and defence sectors.
Pro AV Solutions has a position available in their NSW branch to join their Service Team as an AV Service Technician.
You will provide on-site technical support for our customers with a focus on configuring network devices and Microsoft Teams meeting rooms.
The successful candidate may just be finishing up their study or new to the world of work.
We are not necessarily interested in years of experience, but more about the passion for your job, drive and determination to do a great job and learn from the best.
You must have a valid drivers licence as you will be given a company car to perform your role.
Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and restore functionality with equipment in the field.
Conduct product installations by replacing faulty devices, potential equipment upgrades, and carry out preventative maintenance at customer sites.
Collaborate with team members to optimise AV solutions for clients.
Provide technical support and training to end-users.
Update service calls and maintain records of trouble shooting steps and rectification whilst providing equipment status.
Key Experience & Capabilities: Currently doing or recently completed TAFE course similar or equivalent to Cert IV in Information Technology (Networking).
Experience with AV/UC systems (projectors, sound systems, LED video walls, Microsoft Teams/Zoom rooms etc.)
experience in understanding of networks would be beneficial.
Commissioning, programming knowledge and experience is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Be comfortable in working with hand and power tools if required.
