They are seeking a Technical Advisor to join their team and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Workshop, based in the town of Proserpine. This role will be semi-productive.

To be considered for this role, the right person must be:
A trade qualified Automotive Technician (as the role is semi-productive) Experienced in a dealership environment Possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills Computer literate Committed to excellent customer service Capable of multi-tasking Highly skilled in vehicle diagnostics, including both mechanical and electrical systems Key job functions: Provide expert advice to customers on technical issues Mentor, train, and provide workshop support to staff Produce repair orders Attend technical training when required Work closely with all staff in the department, while reporting to the Service Manager Liaise with the workshop to ensure time constraints are met Diagnose vehicle mechanical and electrical systems Assist workshop technicians with technical issues Order parts Handle customer complaints Promote a safe work environment Meet warranty requirements To be successful in this unique role, you must have strong mechanical abilities, along with the right nature to train and mentor staff, and assist customers in understanding technical issues with their vehicles.
