About the Position: Are you a can-do person with a customer focus, strong facilitation skills, process oriented, articulate, a collaborator and able to build strong long term business relationships in search of a role offering job satisfaction and career progression? As a Product Support Operations Representative (Pre-Field), you will commence a development program and embark on a journey of learning and collaboration, contributing to the success of dealers in ANZI region. Based in Melbourne and working in a small team supported by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), this role is pivotal in ensuring that dealer parts and service operations are seamless, optimal and profitable whilst enhancing customer satisfaction and building dealer product support capabilities. Whilst applicants will be considered from across Australia, you may be required to relocate upon completion of your developmental period. Company support is provided with relocation.
Job Duties: Function as a liaison between dealers and Caterpillar. Utilize deep understanding of distribution processes and systems to analyse and resolve product support capabilities and challenges. Conduct analysis, identifying strategic problems and implementing effective solutions. Primary Responsibilities: Assist dealers in business planning and recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness. Counsel dealers to enhance human performance capability and implement performance gap solutions. Analyse dealer Parts and Service operations, focusing on process optimization and profitability. Support dealer participation in Caterpillar improvement programs and ensure compliance with policies. Facilitate rollout of new products and services, staying updated on industry and technology changes. Desired Skills and Experience: Skills: A bachelor's degree in engineering. Customer Focus. Problem Solving and Project Management. Consulting and Collaboration. Decision Making and Critical Thinking. Relationship Management. Effective Communication and Negotiation.
Experience: Prior experience in field assignments or product support roles is beneficial. Mechanically minded. Must be willing to travel up to 30%.
