This is a permanent FIFO site-based role from Perth on 8/6-7/7 roster. Liebherr Australia is seeking an AHS Specialist to provide safe, efficient and compliant diagnostic, repair, maintenance, component replacement, calibration and commissioning services to the Division's customer base.Reporting to the Project Manager (AHS), you will provide installation, commissioning, diagnostic, support development testing, and validations for Autonomous Haulage System equipment. This will include support for breakdown maintenance, repairs, and calibration of field devices associated with Fleet Management (FMS), Traffic Management (TMS), Telecommunications, Vehicle Awareness (VAS), High Precision Machine Guidance, and Onboard Perception and Robotics Systems.This role is for a highly experienced and motivated professional who is ready to take on a new challenge and stay ahead of the curve in technology.ResponsibilitiesCommission AHS Equipment and execute AHS commissioning, validation and test plans.Classify and prioritize support service requests, generate service requests, and provide fault causes and resolutions status.Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manuals.Maintain, test, commission, and repair electrical/electronic equipment.Diagnose faults, repair, maintain, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.Maintain and update Jira and Confluence R&D platform.Implement and lead change management processes for software and hardware rollouts.Develop and review work products and documentation associated with AHS operation and maintenance.Research and analyse onboard AHS system data and provide guidance to onboard technicians and feedback to factory engineering teams.Request and order parts.Ensure tasks are completed safely, within the required timeframe, and in accordance with specified work instructions.Secure and retain required license(s) for equipment operation.Operate equipment safely.Complete documentation on time and to the required standard.Actively participate in continuous improvement activities and projects as required.Maintain effective relationships with customers.Skills and QualificationsAt your core, you are a practical person that thrives with hands-on work while being analytical and solving problems before they become a problem. You follow set procedures and routines and can work with numbers and details following the rules. Your entrepreneurial spirit means that you start and carry out projects to ensure timely completion.
