About the role
This is best suited for individuals who are enthusiastic and passionate about the automotive industry and want to share their experiences to enhance upcoming students' skills and knowledge through training.
We are looking for motivated and self-driven individuals with a strong commitment to providing quality training in a supportive and professional manner for the position of Automotive Trainer/Assessor in the qualification of:
AUR30616 – Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology AUR40216 – Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis AUR50216 – Diploma of Automotive Technology Candidate must have:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent) Working with children and police check.
An AQF equivalent or higher qualification for delivery.
Automotive industry currency with work experience in the related field.
Excellent communication and adequate documentation skills.
Knowledge and adherence to various compliance requirements dictated by ASQA, SRTO 2015, Skills First Quality Charter, ESOS Act.
Contribute to and achieve recognised KPIs.
Selection requirements:
Will be actively involved in conducting face-to-face training and assessments in a classroom-based environment.
Will participate in the industry consultation process and PD activities.
Will work with the institute on Quality Management System.
Will ensure all standards related to training and assessment are met at all times.

Positions are available for Full Time / Part Time / Casual / Contract.
Remuneration: Salary and rates will be in accordance with the current industry hourly standard and in accordance with candidate's experience and CAC policies.
