The island has growing infrastructure to support tourism, fishing, and other local industries, creating a dynamic environment where economic development and cultural heritage coexist.The OpportunitySupport regional development by assisting in the development of a multifunction car service centre, providing diverse automotive services and economic opportunities for the local community including:Manage the daily maintenance and servicing of fleet and private vehicles.Manage and maintain all machinery and vehicles to a quality standard, ensuring reliable service.Maintain workshop plant and equipment.Adhere to safe working practices and security within the workshop.Implement and maintain given procedures within the workshop and on site.Oversee quality control and assist Traditional Owners with vehicle maintenance.Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction within the service department.About YouExperience in the repair and maintenance of various makes and types of vehicles, including light vehicles, commercial vehicles, and heavy equipment (marine desirable).Experience performing log-book servicing of vehicles.Demonstrated strong fault-finding skills using manual and scanning tools.Air-conditioning license preferred.Proficient in fault finding and diagnosis.Mechanic experience is advantageous.Experience in dismantling, checking, repairing, and re-assembling electrical components and parts.Current Driver's License required.To ApplySubmit your application in Word format by clicking the 'Apply' button below.
