Automotive Technician (Ak7643)

My client is seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Technician to join their team. If you are looking for a sea change or a local looking for a new opportunity, this could be the role for you!
Recent renovations of the dealership now offer a state-of-the-art, modern workshop, with new equipment in place.
Responsibilities & Duties:

Carrying out a range of engine and mechanical tests, to diagnose, repair and service all brands of vehicles on site.
Preventative maintenance.
Troubleshooting and fault finding.
Completing basic paperwork/log books.
Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles.
Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of all mechanical issues and changes to relating to dealer product range.
Conferring with the Service Advisor to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements.
Maintaining and enhancing the production control system.

The Successful Candidate:

Completed your Cert III in automotive (light vehicle).
Current WA repairers licence.
Sound diagnostic skills.
Developed knowledge of the automotive industry.
Ability to work productively in an autonomous environment.
Auto electrical competencies will be highly advantageous.
Current driver's license.
An understanding of workplace health and safety.
Must have own tools.
