Position: Automotive Parts Manager We're looking for an experienced Parts Manager to join our passionate and professional team at Porsche Centre Gold Coast in Southport.
Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, you will be responsible for: Forecasting goals and objectives for the department and striving to meet them. Ensuring parts and accessories are available for resale. Striving for harmony and teamwork with all other departments. Working with the Service Manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for Warranty and Customer paid jobs. Establishing and maintaining purchasing policies including purchase orders, inventory guide figures, order codes. Establishing and maintaining programs designed to train, develop and motivate department employees. Directing and scheduling the activities of all parts department employees. Providing technical assistance to parts department employees. Monitoring parts department employees' payroll records. Developing, enforcing, and monitoring guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Establishing and enforcing a pricing policy that balances volume, customer loyalty, and the cost of doing business. Monitoring and adjusting inventory to minimise obsolescence. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following skill set: Great attention to detail. A willingness to learn. Ability to multitask. Great organisational and communication skills. Be well presented. Two years' experience as a Parts Manager at an automotive dealership or wholesale parts department. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Two years of supervisory experience. Five years of experience in an automotive parts department. Must have a valid driver's license.
