What you'll do... As the Automotive Interior Design Manager, you will report directly to the Chief Designer based out of our design studio in Melbourne, Campbellfield.
We are seeking a highly creative leader to spearhead the design and strategy for our automotive interiors.
This critical role will oversee a talented team of interior designers, guiding them to develop innovative and compelling design solutions that meet our brand's aesthetic vision and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Main Responsibilities: Drive the creation of innovative, market-leading automotive interiors by leading product strategy and development, ensuring consistent design execution and brand alignment across all product lines.Manage the development of interior design vision and strategies to production readiness.Perform / Be the face of Interior Design Group.Point of contact with cross-functional team during various interior design development phases to foster efficient workflow and alignment on design.Co-ordinate artistic presentation to effectively communicate design concepts and progress for senior leadership endorsement.You'll have: 10+ years' relevant industry experience, ideally within a global company.Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships, engage in extensive consultation, and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.Mentor and ability to develop interior design personnel.Visionary and passionate about Design.Academic degrees and work experience in Automotive Design.Deep understanding / knowledge in Automobile Interior Design, CMF Design and Design Process.Strategic and creative thinking.Established experience in developing, project managing and executing design product strategies within project timelines.2D/3D digital design media (Photoshop, Illustrator, VRED, Power Point, etc.
