Learn multiple trades as you repair heavy vehicles as an apprentice heavy vehicle body builder Gain a Certificate III in Automotive Manufacturing Technical Operations Multiple trade exposure as you learn to repair heavy vehicles Based in Derrimut, VIC The Opportunity: As a heavy vehicle body building apprentice, you'll learn how to fabricate and install custom bodies onto the chassis of a variety of heavy vehicles, including trucks, trailers, refrigerated vehicles. The successful applicant will complete a Certificate III - Automotive Manufacturing Technical Operations - Bus, Truck & Trailer.      Benefits: The ability to earn money while learning a trade Exposure to fabrication, mechanics and electrical  Mentoring from experienced industry professionals All training fees and PPE paid for Duties may include: Prepare and operate tools, equipment, and machinery. Repair, service and maintenance of truck trailers  Read and interpret work orders and work drawings. Perform basic welding, thermal and mechanical cutting, heating and gouging.
