Ongoing upskilling and development - learn more about how we run our business and learn from experienced team mates Tasks and Responsibilities Coordinate and execute high performance builds on vehicles Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of European prestige vehicles Accurately diagnose and fault find including electrical Communicate diagnoses to customers with a focus on a high level of customer service Diagnosing Electrical Issues: Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify electrical problems in vehicles, such as faulty wiring, malfunctioning sensors, or issues with the battery and charging systems.
Repairing and Replacing Components: Repair or replace electrical components, including wiring harnesses, alternators, starters, and electronic control units (ECUs), to ensure proper vehicle functionality.
Installing Electrical Systems: Install new electrical systems or accessories, such as audio systems, alarms, or navigation systems, ensuring they are integrated correctly with the vehicle's existing systems.
Performing Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems, including checking battery health, testing circuits, and ensuring all electrical components are functioning properly.
Updating Software and Firmware: Update or reprogram vehicle software and firmware for various electronic systems, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance of the vehicle's electrical components.
Skills and Experience Full auto electrician qualifications Current manual Australian Drivers' License Full Australian working rights Experience with Volkswagen Auto Group, Mercedes, and BMW and/or in a European or high-performance workshop highly regarded Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year Benefits Employee discount Schedule 8 hour shift Supplementary Pay Performance bonus Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
