Automotive Electrician

Duties and Responsibilities:

Identify and troubleshoot electrical and electronic malfunctions in motor vehicles.
Dismantle and remove electrical and electronic assemblies and components.
Install electrical equipment and electronic components in motor vehicles.
Connect power-operated vehicle equipment and accessories to the power supply.
Adjust engine control systems and timing.
Test and replace defective alternators, batteries, and starter motors.
Repair and replace faulty ignition and electrical wiring.
Replace defective parts such as fuses, lamps, and switches.
Use test equipment to locate and diagnose electrical and electronic malfunctions.
Dismantle electrical and electronic assemblies and components.
Install and connect electrical equipment and components in motor vehicles.
Test and replace defective vehicle electrical components.
Diagnose and complete air-conditioning maintenance and repairs.

Preferred Qualifications:

AQF Certificate III, including at least two years of on-the-job training.
OR AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3 or equivalent)
Or at least three years of relevant experience
Strong attention to detail and dedication.

Salary and Benefits:

Competitive salary with guaranteed annual earnings starting at $73,150.
Full-time + Superannuation, permanent position with opportunities for overtime.
