Base salary - 38,000- 40,000Location: Derby - This role will be remote and travel.5 days per week (Monday - Friday)Flexible Working & Work from home arrangements25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays + Additional Day Off for Your BirthdaySupport ServiceComprehensive Health & Wellbeing ResourcesLife AssurancePension SchemeCommission / Bonus structureOverview: Our client is excited to announce the recruitment of a Business Development Manager to expand our portfolio in Adult Technical Training, HGV, Light Vehicle, and Autocare apprenticeship programs.We seek a highly motivated and successful Business Development Manager with a proven sales and apprenticeship track record.
The ideal candidate will possess the skills, ambition, and relentless drive to achieve success not only for themselves but also for the company, our clients, and our learners.Your role will involve confidently engaging with key decision-makers in automotive and logistics organizations while also promoting our other products and services.This role is field-based, so travel is essential, as is being a self-starter with a proven track record in the territory and sector.Role Objectives: Engage Employers: Identify and connect with employers to generate commercial funded starts for our training programs.
Pursue Opportunities: Actively seek out new leads and opportunities with target clients, develop strong propositions, and build exceptional relationships across all key sectors.
Generate Leads: Drive lead generation through field sales, cold calling, networking, and presentations to secure new employer accounts and position the company as the Training Provider of choice.
Maximize Relationships: Manage and strengthen employer relationships to secure new or repeat business.

We are committed to your growth, offering access to continuous personal and professional development programs, including Mental Health Awareness and Safeguarding training.Qualifications: Functional skills at Level 2 in English, Maths, and ICT or equivalent qualifications.Experience: Experience in a Business Development role, consistently achieving and exceeding targets.Experience in a similar role within the apprenticeship training sector.Experience in selling commercial training.Proven track record in building trust and relationships with other companies to deliver results.Experience in traveling, meeting clients, and attending networking events.Experience in presenting ideas at the highest executive level in a consultative manner.Experience in developing and implementing strategic solutions.Demonstrated ability to gain deep insight into prospective customers' strategic growth plans and relate them to our product and service offerings.#J-18808-Ljbffr
