What you'll do Accountable for managing automation up time, asset reliability, quality on-time maintenance planning and spare parts control to ensure the continued performance and reliability of the automated fulfilment operation Develop, implement, monitor, and improve preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and resource utilisation with minimum downtime and extending lifecycle performance Provide insights into asset failure early warning systems and drive RCA outcomes from prior failures.
Support the development of asset maintenance plans derived from FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), or similar, and criticality analysis assessment.
Lead a culture of Continuous Improvement across all aspects of site maintenance.
Provide leadership and subject matter expertise to the site teams in areas supporting equipment performance and reliability objectives Support the delivery of quality control across all operational areas to meet set expectations Foster true partnership & collaboration with our automation equipment vendor site leadership and operations teams.
Accountable for the budgeting and financial performance of the mechanical electrical and spare parts services from the automation maintenance vendor.
What you'll bring Five plus years experience in reliability engineering or maintenance management across automated distribution centres, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development.
Proven track record of contract and contractor management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams & drive change in a complex & large environment.
Proficient in computer skills to run data analysis, create reports, graphs, charts, presentations, training packages.
Have proven experience in lean TPM / Lean Six Sigma, or similar.
Experience in developing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
Understanding of Condition Based Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance principles.
