In this role, you will be continuously supported by your leadership group and peers, focusing on the development of PLC systems. You will be given career progression opportunities with long-term career goals. As this role is within a manufacturing company, you are required to work 5 days a week in the office to ensure you can work with engineers and trades to develop and maintain equipment when and where required. No two days will look the same with your involvement in product design, assembly, and maintenance. There is also flexibility around start and finish times and other added incentives.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions to improve manufacturing processes. Design and program PLC systems to optimize production efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues. Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades to automation systems. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or a related field. 4-7 years of experience in automation engineering, with a focus on PLC programming. Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic and structured text. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
