We've successfully introduced two new Automation Engineers to this team over the last 6 months and due to a promotion, we're now recruiting for a second new addition.Key Requirements:PLC experience is essentialExperience of fault-finding and modifying PLCs (of any of the major PLC manufacturers)Understanding of relay logic and the ability to fault-find from Engineering drawings - P&IDs, Electrical Schematics, and control loop diagramsExperience of AC or DC inverter drives - fault finding/commissioningInstrumentation knowledge, maintaining and fault-finding control loopsYou will receive regular, specialist training on current and emerging technologies, an annual salary review, 10% employer pension contribution, and a range of staff discounts with some major UK brands. If you contribute 6% of your salary, the company will contribute an additional 10% per year to your pension.Working Pattern: Your first 6 months are likely to be days whilst you get up to speed though. 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off. You will also have 5 x 18 day breaks throughout the year, with the 4 days off, plus the 5 x 18 day breaks, means you're not working for nearly 6 months of the year, ideal for someone with hobbies or projects outside of work!The successful Automation Engineer will be paid for 150 hours at the beginning of the year as upfront overtime payments, throughout the year, you may be asked to work or attend training on some of the 18-day breaks (on the basis that you will have already been paid).Location: The company is located in the North West and is easily commutable from the following places; Deeside, Chester, Wrexham, Ellesmere Port, Broughton, Liverpool, Northwich, Runcorn, Widnes, and Warrington.Reference: JTRA1_UKTJ#J-18808-Ljbffr
