As an Auto Retention Specialist, you will provide exceptional customer service to our existing clients. You will advise new and existing clients on how to best protect their assets when it comes to auto insurance. You will identify gaps in our clients' coverage, and you will offer solutions, proactively and creatively, using a diverse selection of insurance products while achieving performance targets. You will develop new business by cross selling and making referrals to Personal & Commercial Lines. You will have continuous learning and development opportunities to maintain licensing requirements and work towards your career goals.
What you will bring to our team- Skills required for this position include interpersonal skills, excellent customer service, empathy, ability to solve problems, typing, ability to handle rejection and ability to meet retention goals
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment and handle high volumes of transactions
Level 1 General Insurance license
Willingness to obtain a Level 2 license
Experience with ICBC Autoplan Insurance
Ease with technology and ability to use multiple computer programs concurrently
Salary Expectations – The compensation for this position is a variable compensation structure, ie., base salary plus commission. As such, the total compensation earned will vary depending on the successful candidate's book of business at a particular time. The expected base salary for this position is $42,000.00 to $44,000.00, plus commissions will be paid based on successful sales performance. The total compensation will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses for some positions.
