We service and repair European cars as well.Our workshop is equipped with the latest computerised diagnostic equipment, and we have a large clean 5-bay workshop with 4 hoists and 4 mechanics.
We are accredited by VACC which ensures that we provide the customer with a high standard of workmanship and the most up-to-date knowledge on your vehicle.Position Overview:We are giving you an exciting opportunity to join the elite team based in Clayton South, VIC.
We are looking for a team member to join our friendly Motor Mechanics who are proud and passionate about cars.The candidate in mind will be expected to perform the following duties that include but are not limited to:•Repair, maintain and test motor vehicle and other internal combustion engines and related mechanical components.•Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts.•Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, and checking parts.•Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components and referring to service manuals as needed.•Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.•Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired.•Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance.•Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers.•May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness.•May respond to vehicle breakdown service calls.Qualifications:•Certificate III, IV and Diploma in Automotive with on-the-job experience.Abilities/Attributes:•Self-starter with strong self-management skills.•Strong team player with the ability to communicate directly with peers, managers, and clients.•Excellent attention to detail.•Competency in all the duties listed above.
