We specialise in auto electrical work - diagnostics, batteries, air conditioning, starter motors, alternators etc. We operate in Ipswich, QLD and are hard workers offering local friendly customer service in auto electrical related services.About the roleWe are currently seeking a full-time qualified auto electrician available for an immediate start. Candidates will undertake, but not be limited to the following roles and responsibilities:Install electrical equipment such as lighting, alternators, batteries and starter motorsInstall electrically operated accessories such as driving lamps, brake controllers, dual battery systems and anti-theft systems;Refer to circuit diagrams and use meters and test instruments to find electrical faults;Test and replace faulty alternators, generators, starter motors and related items such as voltage regulators and batteries;Repair or replace faulty electrical wiring, fuses, lamps, switches etc;Safely use and maintain hand tools, specialised electrical tools, instruments and machines, including drills and grinders;Solder or weld when repairing electrical parts;Source, sell and install electrical parts and accessories.About youTo be successful in this role, candidates will require the following:Current full manual C Class QLD Driver's Licence;An interest in Auto Electrical work in cars, trucks and boats;Previous Mechanical/Auto Electrical experience;Sound computer skills;A passion for sales and providing solutions to customers;Ability to provide great customer service;A professional and friendly approach coupled with a positive and proactive attitude;Ability to work independently and autonomously as well as part of a team;Good knowledge of safe working practices, including safe manual handling;Willingness to do manual lifting and picking/packing deliveries;Be physically fit as heavy lifting is required at times.Only those with a can-do attitude, strong work ethic and plenty of common sense need apply.Salary dependant on the candidate and their experience.
