We currently have a permanent vacancy for a keen and energetic Auto Electrician to join the Maintenance Team at Premier Coal.
About the RoleReporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. The role will require you to:
Be involved with fault finding & troubleshooting systems across all fleetsMaintain Air Conditioning systems on all mobile equipmentFocus on reliability of equipment including project work to improve the auto-electrical performance of the various fleets in operationCarrying out scheduled and breakdown maintenance to a variety of our mobile heavy plantConducting preventive maintenance inspectionsMaintaining high level of housekeeping in your work areaIdentifying opportunities for improvement in the equipment or work proceduresScoping and creating SAP notifications for preventative workRoster: 4/4 rotating day/night - 12 hour shifts
About YouTo be successful you will have the following skills and experience:
Trade Certificate in Automotive Electrical TechnologyCurrent WA Drivers LicencePrevious experience in a similar role, preferably within a mine site environmentProven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all timesAbility to work independently as well as a part of the teamGreat interpersonal and communication skillsThorough understanding of individual responsibilities in relation to the Coal Mining Safety & Health Act and associated regulationsPrevious experience with automotive air conditioningIf you would like to apply for this role please click the Apply button.
