What Does a Day as a Toll Auto Electrician Look Like? Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring and electronic components on heavy diesel machinery, including American and European trucks and trailers Dismantling and removing electrical components Adjusting engine control systems Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical problems Ordering and replacing parts as needed Keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used Maintaining a safe and clean work environment Communicating effectively with supervisors and other team members What Toll has to Offer Job Security - Permanent Position FIFO or Residential Opportunities with different roster options Attractive $30k per annum Housing Allowance for Residential candidates subject to tax 2/1 Roster (14 days on / 7 days off) or Monday-Friday work week available $5000 Sign on Bonus on offer Refer a friend and earn $2000 NEW purpose built Workshop completion due early 2025 Extensive fleet of trucks and trailers to showcase your skills On the Job training opportunities Collaborative and supportive team environment across the workshop Our Key Skills and Experience Trade qualified in Certificate III - Automotive Electrical with 2+ years of trade experience A/C Ticket advantageous Unrestricted Australian Working Rights National Police Check required Experience working on Heavy Road Transport vehicles Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems Ability to read wiring diagrams and diagnosing issues Excellent problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Commitment to workplace safety Working at Toll
