Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Auto Electrician's role will include electrical rebuilds on a variety of used Caterpillar equipment, overhauling electrical systems, performing diagnostics and replacing electrical components & air-conditioning systems. The variety of equipment includes D10 and D11 Dozers, 992 Wheel Loaders, 24M Graders and a wide range of models of Off Highway Trucks (777F – 793F). This work will be completed in a collaborative, team environment with a strong focus on safety.
Location: Welshpool
Roster: 7 Days, 7 off, 7 Nights, 7 off, 12 hours per day
To be successful the following is required:
• Auto Electrical Trade Qualification is essential
• ARC Licence (Aircon ticket) is essential
• Current Forklift Licence
• Experience working with Heavy Mobile Equipment
• Caterpillar product knowledge highly regarded
• Dedicated commitment to Safety & Quality Assurance
