About the role:
We are currently seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join the maintenance team at our Wilpinjong Mine.
Our Wilpinjong Mine is an open-cut mine located 58 kilometres northeast of Mudgee, producing high-quality thermal coal for export and domestic markets.
Wilpinjong uncovers and mines coal utilizing dozer push and truck and shovel methods and last year sold 14 million tons of coal.
The fleet at Wilpinjong mine includes CAT 789, 793, 785, and Terex MT400 trucks, 16M & 14M graders, D10 and D11 dozers, and Liebherr 9350, 9400, CAT 6060, and Hitachi 5500 excavators.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will complete planned and unplanned maintenance of Peabody mining equipment as directed by the Leading Hand / Supervisor to the required standards.
You will also comply with all site and statutory OH&S regulations and maintain a strong focus on safety for yourself and others including the use of site safety systems.
Duties will include: Completing both scheduled and breakdown servicing on a variety of mining machineryFault finding, conducting repairs, and undertaking preventative maintenanceMinimizing production downtimeActively engaging in the continuous improvement programEnsuring all Peabody safety procedures are followed to maintain a safe workplaceThe lifestyle:
