Auto Electrician – Mobile Asset Maintenance George Fisher Mine, Operations – Mobile Maintenance Ref. No. 27046 The Role Mount Isa Mines are currently advertising a vacancy for the role of Auto Electrician. Reporting to the George Fisher Mine Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in safely and effectively performing planned and reactive maintenance tasks. Working in a team and promoting site safety standards, you will ensure that the highest quality of work is conducted and maintained. This position is residentially based in Mount Isa and requires you to work a roster comprising of 7 on 7 off day and night continuous shift.
The successful candidate will be responsible for: Demonstrate and promote a high level of safety commitmentWork thoroughly and consistently when maintaining site vehicles and equipmentWork both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary trade teamPartake in servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance change outs, along with field workPerform works on a range of mobile mining equipment including Caterpillar, Sandvik, Epiroc, Normet, and Komatsu.Participate in continuous improvement projectsThe successful candidate will possess: Trade qualification – Auto ElectricalCapability in reading and interpreting auto electrical schematicsAbility to conduct fault finding on electrical systems and machinesEfficiency with OEM diagnostics toolingCurrent Australian manual driver's licenseFor further information, please contact:
