Thiess is the place to make things happen.The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Auto Electrical Tradesperson to join the maintenance crew at Pembroke Resource's new autonomous mine in the Bowen Basin - the Olive Downs Complex.?Pembroke Resource's Olive Downs Complex is a greenfield project located 40 kilometres South-East of Moranbah, which commenced mining operations mid-2023.?Thiess has been awarded a five-year contract to deliver full-service mining operations, including mine planning overburden removal, drill and blast, load and haul, water management and rehabilitation as well as the construction of the mine infrastructure.As an Auto Electrical Tradesperson, you will be required to:Maintain a fleet of Haul Trucks and associated plant equipment safely and efficiently in order to meet site maintenance schedulesServicing and repairs to heavy vehicle air-condition systemsReading electrical schematics, diagnosing, and carrying out repairs on 12/24v electrical systemsAttending in-field breakdowns and repairing faults safely and efficientlyCreate detailed parts lists for faults found during inspections for future repairsCAT and Liebherr experience desirable.About you?Trade certified auto electrical tradespersonProven experience in the maintenance of Haul trucks and associated plant equipment in a mining environmentRelevant post trade experienceCAT and Liebherr experience highly desirable.Valid Drivers Licence?Current Standard 11?What Thiess can do for you?Annual salary up to $173,272.00 inclusive of super (subject to relevant experience)Access to fully funded flights from BrisbaneEven time (7/7) roster/12.0hr Days & NightsBIBO from Mackay Permanent full-time positions??Thiess' commitment to ongoing training & development?as part of delivering a modern autonomous mineHealth & well-being rewards program through AIA Vitality?Salary sacrifice options – novated leasing???Individual flexibility arrangements on offer - (Live Local or DIDO)Range of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail products.?About us??Thiess works with clients in Australia, Asia and the Americas in the dynamic field of open-cut and underground mining.
