About the role As our next Auto Electrician to proudly represent our Maintenance Team, you will live for challenges and thrive on the variety of work available.

In this role, you will:
Maintain a fleet of Haul Trucks and associated plant equipment safely and efficiently in order to meet site maintenance schedules Servicing and repairs to heavy vehicle air-condition systems Reading electrical schematics, diagnosing, and carrying out repairs on 12/24v electrical systems Attending in-field breakdowns and repairing faults safely and efficiently Create detailed parts lists for faults found during inspections for future repairs CAT and Liebherr experience desirable.
About you Trade Certificate in Automotive Electrical Fitting Previous open cut mining experience in the maintenance of a heavy earthmoving fleet essential Specific experience with Caterpillar Dump Trucks, Hitachi Excavators and Ancillary Equipment Previous experience with air conditioning systems required HR drivers licence (desirable) Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times What Thiess can do for you Permanent full-time positions Full camp facilities provided Thiess' commitment to training & development Salary sacrifice options – Flights & novated leasing Range of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail products.
