The Nathan River mine site is located 50km inland from the Gulf of Carpentaria and approximately 760km from Darwin. We are the proud owner and operator of the Roper Bar Iron Ore Mine, managing a fleet of mine and marine assets dedicated to our operations.
As a result of the initial operational kick-off in 2023, we are anticipating our phase 2 expansion plans, creating a need for additional crew members.
We are seeking the following position: Reporting directly to the maintenance supervisor on your crew, you will enjoy working in a varied role where you'll develop a broad range of skills in both the workshop and in the field. Working in a close-knit team, you will be involved with:
Workshop - servicing, preventative and scheduled maintenance, fault finding and diagnostics, and major component change outsField - breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics, and servicing of trucks and air conditioning unitsProduction machinery - Loaders, Dump Trucks, Graders, and LV fleet as well as Heavy Rigid TrucksFIFO Roster Ex Darwin is 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
